I drive a stock 2000 blue Chevrolet Prizm. It is nice because it is Toyota Corolla quality with Chevrolet resale value. I tell everyone that, "My dad bought a 4-pack when I was in high school and everyone time one breaks we unwrap another."

I've driven a beige one, a blue green one, a white one and now I'm back to blue.

Also known as the Geo Prizm.

The Chevrolet Prizm has a special place in my heart because I have driven four of them. My Prizm love affair began with the beigemobile and continued with the bluegreen prizm, white prizm and now again with the bluegreen prizm 2.

Why The Prizm Rocks

• Almost a Toyota: Toyota used to mean quality and the Prizm was born as a Toyota-Chevrolet lovechild. On one side of the factory the car was called the Toyota Corolla and on the other side of the factory it was called the Chevrolet Prizm. Can you guess which version sold better?
• Chevrolet Resale Value: The Prizm is just like the Corolla but cheaper. Chevy's don't have a good record for resale value and that helps because it means you can buy a Prizm far cheaper than you can a Corolla.
• Great Millage: The Prizm gets great millage even when you compare it to newer cars. If you do a lot of highway driving the prizm will get up near 40 miles per gallon. It is also a fun car to hypermile in an if you love torque steer you will love the prizm. Try to find a new car on the market that can do that and you will be out of luck.

Why The Prizm Isn't That Great Of A Car

Not Perfect But We Don't Care

• It is a Prizm: The prizm is an older cheap car that is sterile and not that much fun to drive. I did a demo for my friend who drives a Jetta; I put my foot on the gas and said "listen hear that noise, notice we aren't going any faster."
• Tiny Prizm: The prizm is small and if you aren't a hobbit like me, you will probably feel cramped.
